I’ve been fortunate to build a career I love as a storyteller, connector, and guide for people navigating their professional journeys. I began at Randstad Technologies, one of the largest HR and IT services firms in the world, and by 30, I was leading a national partnership with Cisco—supporting ~$50M in services annually. Over 14 years in the heart of Silicon Valley, serving Fortune 100 companies and ambitious startups alike, I’ve built an ecosystem of top-tier tech recruiters and a network of exceptional IT professionals—from prestigious schools to experienced executives—ready to fuel the next wave of innovation.

In 2022, I launched Erik Charles Consulting to approach recruiting and career coaching differently—helping people maximize their economic and professional potential. I guide individuals through a noisy, comparison-driven market, helping them clarify their strengths, position themselves strategically, and seize opportunities aligned with their purpose. At the same time, I partner with early-stage startups to build world-class teams and shape culture, ensuring every talent decision drives lasting impact.

Outside of work, I’m a husband and father. I’ve had the privilege of officiating weddings for friends, and I’m a devoted open-fire BBQ enthusiast.
